The weren't open at 1:00pm, nor at 1:30pm. I had to leave so I didn't get to see the house. I suspect this is a volunteer-supported organization with the hours they volunteer very loosey-goosey.
I drove to Goodland, KS to see the Ennis Handy House, but it wasn't open during the normal business hours. I even called a day ahead and asked "Will you be open on Saturday after 1:00pm?" and they said YES.
