Hit a turkey out on I-70 driving from Denver, CO to Springfield, MO. Totally obliterated my windshield. Stopped at a gas station in Colby, KS and someone referred me to S&M which was down the road. These guys were great. Very friendly, courteous, and professional which went a long way to lighten up a stressful situation. I didn't want to wait on a new windshield so I had them remove the damaged one so I could keep going. Can't say I was there longer than 20-30 minutes before they had me taken care of and on my way!
Service was great, price was fair, and staff was friendly! They did everything in their power to get us back on the road ASAP after our car broke down nearby.
They may be ok for certain repairs but they are lost working on electrical issues. seen one guy charging my battery with the charger set on 24 volts and 400 amps. when they finally got it running { after l told them to give up trying to figure out the digital voltage splitter and just get me on the road} they said oh by the way your battery is no good we replaced it. l told them that the battery was brand new l bought it right before l started my trip. They said the alternator that had went bad must have ruined the battery, yeah right. l told them l wanted to take the battery with me and they said l couldn't because they would need to charge me a core charge but they didn't know how much because the shop they bought it from was already closed. whatever, that doesn't sound shady at all. I just got out of there before they wanted to "Fix" something else.$800 for a battery and alternator and all the time wasted while they tried to figure out how a $50 digital voltage splitter worked. pray you don't break down in goodland ks.
S and M is the best tow service around. I highly recommend them if you have any vehicle emergency needs.
One of your employees just damaged my lug nut on my Passenger Rear tire. If you guys don’t help me fix this problem I will start an investigation!!
